I have two of Rob's artworks, and a copy of one on my back!! I believe you are left in no doubt what you feel when looking at any one of his works. With the works I have, the deep searing reds, and depths to which they go, are only scratching the surface of the technical intricacy and contrasts that reveal themselves time and again each in a different light. His manipulation of oils give his work an organic visceral flow unlike that of any other of his contemporaries, of which, in his league, in my humble opinion there are very few. I'm incredibly happy with the works I have, they get commented on whenever I have someone round, as they stare, in awe...followed by asking me for his contact info or where his gallery is. The man has skills.
Rob is an excellent artist. The textures are amazing, and the pieces are always eye catching. I sat for many hours in the studio whilst being tattooed and never got bored looking at the artwork he has hanging there. I am the proud owner of Satan, which currently hangs in the studio.
I am a collector of Rob's work, especially his red and black blood London gallery pieces. I own the famous eye and it hangs in my lounge, there is so much texture and depth in his work that every time I look at it I find new and exciting elements almost hidden, just waiting to pull you in. I have various other red and black pieces and they compliment each other even though the subject matter is different within each canvas. Breathtaking - yes, beguiling - yes, scary - yes sometimes.
