Disappointing experience where atmosphere and cuisine we void of creativity and taste. Pub food at its most average served with pomp but no circumstance. If food were merely fuel, this would be the equivalent of a motorway service station.
Have been going to the union for a number of years mow, more regularly since we moved into the area. It's definitely one of my faves... The beer is obviously a massive plus with a great choice, food is decent a d the service gives it a homely feel. Whether it's with the dog, family or the missus its a go to pub. Although I reckon that they need to make use of the BBQ in the back and it will become a 6 star pub.
Friendly staff... beer selection was great, but it looks like theyve decreased the amount they carry now. Dog friendly and baby/child friendly. Good food too.
Nice pub away from the tourist hotspots. I've not eaten here so can't comment on food. It's a popular place with the locals with a good selection of beers from the local meantime brewery.
Just 5 minutes away from Greenwich station yet tucked in a peaceful neighborhood. Awesome fish and chips and great service. I rate it A+ (the + goes to its very friendly staff). Definitely coming back on my next visit to London!
