Proper old skool boozer with best Guinness I've had outside Ireland... And not usual London shocking price. Friendly
a decent pint of Guinness from this place, it's the sister pub to The Crown in Westminster bridge road. Not touristy at all and mainly a locals place. Consequently, it's not too pricey and has a more lived in feel. The attached restaurant area is only accessible by going outside the pub and through another entrance. It has home cooked food that won't garner a Michelin star, but is wholesome and filling.
Apart from having the best Guinness this side of Dublin, Tom is the perfect host, straight talking, welcoming and always has great craic. Food is delicious too in the Green Pea. Best veggie crepes, gammon and roast beef in London. Not to be missed!
