Awful surgery, don't bother joining. If I wasn't limited in choice I would not use them. EDIT: It turns out that it wasn't that they didn't know procedure it's that they didn't want to dispense a medication because of the cost. They are more worried about their bottom line then patient care/quality of life that they lie to the patient and give them false information.
Really good GPs and nurses - able to look into your situation and refer up if need be - no complaints, they do a thorougher job
This was a great practice when I first attended and has gone significantly downhill. I called about a blocked ear which I had been putting hot oil in for several days to no avail. Got a call back from the doctor who briskly told me there was no point in being seen as I would need to do the oil for at least 2 weeks. I explained I have had previous ear infections from the same blocked ear and I was experiencing the same type of pain and wooziness. Again was dismissed quite bluntly by the doctor so I agreed to keep on with the oil. 2 days later I call again as feeling much worse with no hearing in ear at all now. Get an appt that afternoon with a different doctor which was great. However after a 25 minute wait I finally managed to be seen only for the doctor to be rather patronising to me. She had a look in my ear and said she could give me antibiotics. I asked if I had an infection then and she said she didn't know as my ear was blocked with wax. So I asked if I needed my ear irrigated first - she told me to book the irrigation in with the reception but to take the antibiotics anyway. I don't like to take medication I don't need to so I asked again if I needed it and she said it would do no harm if I took them, fine. Get an appt booked the following week for ear irrigation at 3pm. I then get a call at 12pm the day of my irrigation to say I can't have it as if I had an infection I would have to wait 6-8 weeks before irrigation. I explained the doctor had told me she didn't know if I had an infection and that the antibiotics were precautionary. Get told I'll get a call back. Over an hour later yet another different doctor calls to say they won't do the irrigation as I 'may' have had an infection. I asked why the other doctor had even bothered to advise me to book in an irrigation if that is the case to which she replied she didn't know. So I am now stuck in limbo with antibiotics I may or may not need and a blocked ear that I can do nothing about whilst the surgery refuses to do anything. I'm appaled at the level of conduct of the doctors who were sharp, dismissive and patronising of me whilst I was just switched between them. I felt like just a name on a page to them, not a patient and was more an annoyance they wanted to just get rid of. Really really disappointed at the lack of care and will be looking for a new practice who cares for their patients.
Good doctors but appalling service by the members of staff. Even having your call answered is too much to ask. I had them hang up on me at ''hello'' after queuing for ages so many times!!
Great doctors, lovely support staff, and excellent facilities. Best practice Ive been to in London. Availability of appointments is decent, and staff attempt to fit you in last minute if possible. Online service is fantastic as well. I recently signed my 2 month old up as well, and her care has been amazing.
