Very new IKEA. It's nice to see some glass and timber on the side, not just a blue box.And the bicycle infra is just amazing. Great place altogether.
We do love an Ikea store on our doorstep with its creative minimalism at reasonable prices - so do thousands of Londoners, judging by todays queues (07/02/19) and hearty opening. Shall go for a proper more leisurely look when there are fewer punters (maybe never!). Sustainable is how it likes to see itself but traffic nearby is going to be a real issue!!!
Nothing really new about it. It could be more sustainable. They got the bicycle game, which you just cicle for fun, which would be greater if it was generating energy. IKEA could have more natural plants, instead of plastic ones.About the traffic in the area :/ that was so bad. Local residents are the one who will suffer the most, with all air and noise pollution it is bringing to the area. Good point goes to the staffs that are great and very friendly.
Lovely store. Bright, airy and staff very helpful. I have only been to the preview and I am hoping the roads & parking do not prove to be a problem.
Great place, lots of play areas for the children inside and out. Staff are friendly. A lovely modern building. Two restaurants and one of those is a roof top one too. Parking is easy as well. You could easily spend around 4 hours here no problem.
