Got a nice Scotty cut, but these guys did not come across as music fans on this occasion; at least not, it seems, when it's not their music - and no chance to haggle either: And when I asked the guy to play the record I was interested in, he got 'all defensive', so I had to insist. Maybe it was an off day. Also, expensive for the quality on offer - my advice would be to check whether the cut you're interested in is available new (many are) and if so, buy the new one instead.Maybe my remarks are a little unfair, after all, I go way back (over 40 years) and things were different back then - shop owners loved playing music. I'm guessing that, due to the resurgence in vinyl, it appears some folks just see pound signs now.Shame.There are better shops in London.

Not sure why there are so many moaning minnies on here; I have been frequenting these shops on and off for about 30 years! The staff are usually quite cool as far as I'm concerned. Just returned from the Greenwich branch with a load of bargains - most in good condition. If you want to see miserable staff selling over-priced scratched vinyl, check out the Reckless shops...if there are any left. :-)

Very welcoming staff and delicious food, specially when u cannot cook food everyday due to hectic routine, its the best option

Good, changing selections but not cheap. Staff were incredibly patronising when I pointed out they had a used record for more than it cost to buy the exact same one brand new anywhere else. Go elsewhere if you're looking to get a good deal...

Good store, friendly staff. Lots of old records, so it's good for collectors. Prices are ok. Selection of rock and metal records could be wider, but I guess that is all down to how many people sell that stuff.
