YAS! TO THE MARITIME MUSEUM! It's just too fab for words! The new galleries are great (opened maybe late summer last year) the staff are super friendly. The new cafe (ground floor park side entrance) is lush! The ahoy children play area is great - but does get busy!! Especially school holidays and rainy afternoons. My favourite bits are still the great map and the book shop ;)
This place is great to take the kids. It's free and there are loads of interactive exhibits for children of all ages. Food is a bit pricey and there's not a great choice for kids.
Free and wonderful museum. It's very interesting if you like ships and sailing.
Really enjoyable exhibition lots of miniature ships and other artifacts. The kids also like it very much, easily can spend 3-4 hours jut to wondering around and discovering all the exhibition rooms.
Great visit with a 3 and 6 year old. Loads to see and do. Nice cafe, pricey, but with free entry to the museum I consider that fair enough.
