Gorgeous university campus and buildings with a lovely view of the London skyline by the river . The view is perfection. I love this part of London, it feels completely separated from the rest of the city and has a small town feel. Great to walk around and explore on a sunny day as it has so much history.

Beautiful garden and museum......Excellent collection....Beautifully maintained.....Very informative and knowledge provider.....

Worth a visit. Away from most of the tourist crowd which makes it a bit more palatable if you don't like crowds

The Naval College Gardens are made up of the King Charles and King William lawns with a fountain in the middle topped by the college lantern and bordered on one side by the river Thames. Theres also the Pepys lawn, Monument Gardens and the Chapel garden. All Designed by Architect Sir Christopher Wren (who designed St. Pauls Cathedral). Well-ordered, well-kept and spacious with little frills as befits a naval academy of that period. Its a relaxing place to pass through and you can sometimes find yourself passing through a film-set with loads of actors and extras, camera and film crew and trucks or van galore but always seemingly so well-ordered. Busy scenes of student graduation celebrations, music echoing from the music school or festivals often take place here. Greenwich market, shops and restaurants, the pier with its clippers, the DKR, the Maritime museum and Observatory on the hill, Royal Greenwich Park, the TRAFALGAR Tavern with its statue of Nelson are all only minutes away. Theres also The Painted Hall and the Chapel that are well worth a visit if only for the architecture and art! Theres also the river foreshore to explore with its ancient piles with memories of jetties and bridges. Good place for kids to explore and have a picnic. Highly recommend it!

Love the Naval College been going to events here all my life and have NEVER been disappointed. Amazing surroundings. The perfect place to spend a summer evening
