Had a truly shocking experience and I haven't even been into the salon! A couple of months back I went to the salon on a day Google said they were open. It didn't look very open, so I caught the eye of a man through the window. When I asked if they were open that day, I was just told "no". I went elsewhere.The place I had gone wasn't amazing, so this time I decided to call ahead and make an appointment (yesterday, for today). I realised today, a couple of hours before the appointment, that with the acting work I'd been given this week it was going to get totally ruined and called to ask to reschedule. The woman on the phone was extremely rude; "we have a 24 hour cancellation policy". Ok, I said - but I haven't given you any money so what does that mean? I was told it was that I was banned from ever using the salon again. Surprised, I said, "wow". At this point the woman started to rave at me about how dare I say wow, she had a stylist come in specifically for this appointment, and I was told when booking. I absolutely know for sure that I was *not* told about this policy when booking, and I have never heard of a hairdresser that employs stylists by the cut. I said that, never mind, there are plenty of other hairdressers for me to go to - at which point she started shouting down the phone at me and I hung up because I didn't much want any more abuse. Had she calmly explained the policy and tried to work it out with me, I wouldn't be writing anything here. But this is disgusting behaviour and I have already told friends to steer clear. I've been recommended the Curious Comb.
Great for waxing (customer service and the actual product they use) and they have student discount!
The place is a joke. Had a tan applied and uneven marks all over body. Please dont waste your money for their herendous selftan.
I really like how friendly and professional the staff were. My stylist took time to talk to me about the style I wanted and was very good about listening to my concerns as well as providing suggestions without being pushy about it. Overall, it was definitely a pleasant experience and I will be happy to go back there in the future. However, what pushed me to write a review was something that happened later that day, when I tried to buy a bottle of wine for dinner and was refused because I didn't have any ID on me. I have been shopping at that store multiple times per week for months even had the same cashier and have never been carded there before. Plus I'm literally twice the legal age! The only thing different about me that day was my hair. As you can probably guess, I'll definitely be going back to Pure Synergie now!
Honestly the best hairdressing experience Ive ever had. Natalie had me in stitches laughing the whole 7 hours it took to fix my (seriously bad) hair. My new colour is perfect and the cut is amazing. Thank you ladies!
