Lovely friendly staff. Excellent fit and finish to rooms and public areas. Easy access to buses and trains into London. Warm cookies on arrival are always welcome.
Really nice hotel. Staff are friendly. It can be quiet at times which is lovely. Bed was comfortable and really big. Views from the 9th floor look good at night and at sunrise. Decor was lovely around Christmas. Only downfall was the lamb shank I ordered it was very bland and looked as if it had been previously cooked then microwaved to heat up.
Had a brilliant stay here. The service from the moment we walked in was great; the warm cookie on checking in is a nice touch, the room was very clean and tidy. The bed was beautifully comfortable and the curtains kept the light out in the morning allowing a lie in.Good location, tucked off the main road. We even won two free cocktails at the bar on the spinning wheel as we checked in.
